Iran is an unknown country (I wish I could say the same for the face of its obnoxious president, but I have to admit he still looks better than his Italian counterpart).

The very purpose of Iranian madness is to bring a realistic picture about this country to the world. I think I'll have done a good job by the end of the year.

However, I recently bumped into a few other blogs (among the exterminate number of blogs maintained by Iranians, estimated to be around seventy thousand!) who are also doing their fair share in this quest. 

Two entries caught my attention as they magically convey a true picture of this country by means of... pictures!

Skyscraper city brings us colours, snow and cityscape views. Here you see surprising facts: Iranians have normal faces, they do normal things (such as play bowling and drive fancy cars) and their capital is a normal, if somewhat chaotic, city.



Laila from Iran press watch demystifies another stereotype: that Iranian girls will go around covered in black from head to toe. Check the two pictures coming, respectively, from Tehran and London. And yes, in that order!
